So many enlightened books, I should’ve read,
But why, am I so intrigued with Mystery?
So many righteous movies, I could’ve watched,
So why, do I choose to view—Immorality?
So many spiritual poems, I would’ve written,
But instead, I expound on this Human Tragedy?

“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” Bible, Romans 8:5,6
Commentary: The Bible foretold that in “the last days,” love of money and pleasures would supplant love of God and neighbor. (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Aware of the spiritual dangers associated with wealth, King Solomon said to God: “Give me neither poverty nor riches.” Why such a desire? “So that I do not become satisfied and deny you,” he continued. (Proverbs 30:8, 9)
