You never realize,
How much you haven’t lived,
Until you’ve run out of time.

Sounds like a pity party to me.
Just be glad you at least had,
One ride on the merry-go-round,
Or roller-coaster,
If that’s more your speed?

Comment: Some people, through no fault of their own, are deserving of empathy. Fortunately, most people are able to choose their own destiny, and be content with the outcome. However, there are others who mess up repeatedly and expect everybody else, to feel sorry for them. I learned early on, that if you are prone to motion sickness, you need to stop spending all of your free time at the amusement park.
