There’s a big price to pay,
When you have a beating heart–
You must invest in love.
Fathers, mothers, brothers,
Sisters, sons and daughters–
All caregivers know my plight.
So many times, I felt like giving up.
So many times, I tried to walk away.
For love has caused me pain,
It has stolen my years,
It has made my heart it’s hostage.
But in the end, it was worth it–
For Jesus has paid my ransom,
And He has brought me back.
