Black Hole

There’s a hole in outer space,
swallowing the Planets, Moons and Stars;
everything around it.

Just like the hole in my heart,
swallowing everything lovely, that surrounds it,
and crushing it!

Spanish Translation

Hay un agujero en el espacio exterior,
tragándose las planetas, lunas y estrellas;
todo lo que esta a su alrededor.

¡Al igual que el agujero en mi corazón,
tragándose todo lo encantador que lo rodea,
y aplastándolo!

“I look up at Your macro-skies, dark and enormous, Your handmade sky-jewelry, moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, why do You bother with us? Why take a second look our way?” The Message, Psalms 8:3,4

What is a black hole? A black hole is an astronomical object with a gravitational pull so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape it. A black hole’s “surface,” called its event horizon, defines the boundary where the velocity needed to escape exceeds the speed of light, which is the speed limit of the cosmos. Matter and radiation fall in, but they can’t get out.
