Springtime

I love the spring;
The trees are green;
The flowers bloom,
And the bees sting.
I don’t like that–
Let me resume!

I like summer;
Grass is greener;
Days are warmer;
Bugs bite harder.
Scratch all of that–
Let’s start over!

I like autumn;
The leaves are brown,
All over town–
There’re mosquitos.
Got ’em, got ’em-
Ouch, they got me!

I like winter;
The trees are bare;
Insects don’t dare,
To be outside.
Really don’t care,
Staying inside!
